That man was important because commander of Osttürkischer Waffen-Verband der SS, and he before spent time in WW1 in Turkish area and then in China. Died on 2nd May 1944 at Юратишки(Yurathiski) because Bielorusian partisans attacked his car. According some sources was shot by SS for insubordination
NB : d’après Claude Herold, il fait certainement partie d’une famille de souche Allemande expulsée d’Alsace en 1918.
